Outages, PSPS risk, and evening rate spikes all push Los Angeles County households toward storage. LA County spans LADWP city service and SCE surrounding cities — utility ID is step one. Below: local context, the incentive list we currently track, qualification steps, and official sources.
Service context: LADWP delivery with SCE generation (when enrolled). Peak window to watch: SCE TOU evening peak where applicable; LADWP has its own rate designs. LADWP customers should not assume SCE/SGIP rules apply. NEM 3.0 export value changes make self-consumption storage more relevant for solar homes. Income-qualified SCE customers can still check SGIP RSSE waitlist status.
Qualification checklist

Leased/PPA systems are owned by a business that follows separate tax rules; ask the provider how that affects your price.

How do I know if I am on LADWP?
Check the utility name on your electric bill. You may also see SCE listed as your generation provider. Border ZIPs should use the directory ZIP finder.
Are listed rebate amounts guaranteed?
No. Funding, income rules, and reservation windows change. EnergyScout lists program names, status, and amounts only when we have verified them, and always links to the official page. Final eligibility is decided by the program administrator.
